Trout doesn’t know of anyone named Homer? Odd, I see.

The flowers are as wilted as Agnes’ ice cream bar hopes.

It’s always been a thing, Agnes. Different people just call it different things.

Because, Trout, “Homer” is not one of your “Uncles”!

Grandma is her most effective teacher.

However Grandma, as the bringer-homer of $10,000.00 to fix the truck, would that not earn me an ice cream bar?

My grandpa was Homer. My wife would not allow me to name our youngest son thusly, nor would his wife acquiesce to my grandson bearing that noble appellation. (Too Appalachian an appellation, I guess…..)

Grandpa Huie was William Homer Huie and was known as Homer.
