We had a house where the entry coat rack and shoe bench was really a disguised door to a large hidden room. We owned the house for 10 years. The grandkids had no knowledge of the secret room. We put the house up for sale and opened it up for the grandkids to see. Their eyes just bugged out! We staged the room like a speakeasy to entice a buyer. We left a very large safe in it with instructions on how to change the combination. I wonder if the new owners ever changed it…..
