“Prairie dog” could just be her nickname, or some kind of metaphor. Considering that Adam seems to suffer frequent writer’s block, I say go with it. Never know where it might lead.
I think I see Adams problem…to much coffee makes him not sleep soundly thus weird dreams occur. If this is how he get his writing ideas he might try another form of dreaming….his WAKING imagination….Na, never mind.
