Honey being interested in an “eligible male babe” seems inconsistent with her having focused her libido on Duke and Duke alone. I guess it comes and goes.
Duke is never in any shape to cover anything. The best you can hope for is that your conscious will let you have a good time knowing that you left him alone with anything you find important.
I’ve known for long time that Trudeau uses wide-open eyes to characterize relatively innocent characters and droopy or squinty eyes to characterize more worldly ones, but I just noticed that he uses neither for Honey.
The little black boy doesn’t have the wide-eyed innocent look Trudeau usually uses for children and Boopsie. Looks like he’s saying black boys experience reality young.
Even in abridged episodic form, Honey’s growing disenchantment with Duke both as a love object and as a person has been showing up for a while—I believe at least since he fled Haiti, and continuing throughout this arc.

Honey can be charged with child endangerment if she leaves them with Duke.
