In the greater San Antonio area there are vets that permit fur parents inside if it’s not too crowded, and others where you drop the fur baby off at the curb or door and return later to get him or her.

I promised an update on Hemi and have been negligent. These past few months have been difficult for other reasons. My husband is one of the unfortunate people that had an adverse reaction to the covid vaccine. It weakened his heart muscle and also put him in acute kidney failure. Hopefully he will be able to get off dialysis in a few months. Getting up at 3:30 in the morning three times a week is exhausting. Fortunately, a nuclear stress test indicates there is no ischemic damage and the meds the cardiologist put him on have improved his heart function. Hemi, thankfully has been holding steady and has been a great comfort to my husband. She will go in for her annual check up in October. Thank you all for your kitty prayers.
