I got my hearing aids today…everything is so loud!

I’ve always had whispered conversations with myself. A legacy of being an only child with a mother that was always reading, and a husband that didn’t talk much. So I got in the car and whispered something and my whispering was loud! Nobody ever told me they could hear it. How embarrassing.

Brothers? Isn’t that a bit sexist? I hope Lily shows him who’s boss.

Maybe she doesn’t have a drum, but I’m sure Annie could find you a ball to play with, Oliver.

Am i the only one wondering what a cat strike looks like? Total work stoppage? Picket line. Staying awake on the job?

Ches is delusional about who actually keeps the warehouse running, but he is correct about the ball being in Annie’s court. Go ahead and strike, we are all curious how it will be.

ANOTHER terrible fire has broken out, this one is a few hours north in the old ranching/tourist community of Walker/Coleville (south of Topaz Lake on the Nevada border) that escaped damage from a massive fire earlier this summer. Homes and businesses have been lost, as well as at least one death. My dad used to occasionally hunt deer up there, and I have stayed at the same nostalgic motel several times. I drove thru just last week on my trip to Carson City. And once again, it’s from a downed power line in high winds! Rain and snow is predicted today, paws crossed that it comes through.

I will gladly order a whole bag full of little red balls for Oliver. And a mask for the Orange Menace. Or, a roll or masking tape. I have a roll in zebra stripes and another of tiger heads. And, one of a tie dye pattern. I don’t like boring tapes. You should see my collection of packing tapes. Then there’s my Scotch tape (but not that brand) of fun tape and my glitter tape. It’s apparently a sickness I have.

Speaking of which…watching news clips this morning, I heard one anchor refer to ‘you know who’ as the Orange Menace.

Jan 20 cannot come soon enough.

Kitty kids like human kids are literalists until they aren’t.

Por Oliver. :( Hopefully, Annie can find a ball for him to play with. (And maybe a drum too.) On another note, saw three chickadees, five juncos, six golden crowned kinglets, a wren, and a varied thrush while out walking today.
