Since reading Dark Side of the Horse I have stopped taking the elevator (lift).

What we need is for the door to open and a monolith to be there – they seem to be showing up everywhere.

It has been years since I’ve had any reason to ride an elevator, this strip often makes me appreciate that and hope to continue the trend

I somehow imagined the stairway would have an icon which included a “Slinky”.

It ain’t the lift – it’s the BUTTONS. Imagine what a doorbell would do.

The Yong-Thulhu company make these special for Escher type buildings. Only a high order being can survive them. Everyone else dies, disappears, gets lost…you know.
