Looks like an arrow so how will it work as a stairway?
Good call.
Since reading Dark Side of the Horse I have stopped taking the elevator (lift).
Don’t even think of touching the “Stairs” sign Horace
If someone doesn’t have elevator phobia, now they will! :-P
For those rare situations when you actually want a large inverted pyramid crashing into the floor next to you.
What we need is for the door to open and a monolith to be there – they seem to be showing up everywhere.
yup, I’d take the stairs too.
Close call, Horace…that’s a real downer…
Horace still doesn’t get the point…!
wow. I didn’t realize the depth of this icon
As Maxwell Smart used to say… Missed me by that much.
See, you should probably do that more often, Horace, considering your luck with elevators and all…
The up button could have had a more disastrous outcome.
It has been years since I’ve had any reason to ride an elevator, this strip often makes me appreciate that and hope to continue the trend
With your luck, Horace, are you even sure you want to take the stairs?
I somehow imagined the stairway would have an icon which included a “Slinky”.
Escher, here I come.
It ain’t the lift – it’s the BUTTONS. Imagine what a doorbell would do.
The Yong-Thulhu company make these special for Escher type buildings. Only a high order being can survive them. Everyone else dies, disappears, gets lost…you know.
Another funny elevator gag!
Samson has played all his elevator cards and Horace moves to stairs…?
Are there no escalators in Finland?
That’s what ruby-red horseshoes are made from.
