The extreme caution one would come in handy. But it’s the first one I need. Sigh.

The timing on this is so funny since I was in such a bad mood on Thursday and Friday. I could have used that sign. And the really funny thing is that I talked to one of my brothers on the phone Saturday and he told me that he’s been in a bad mood lately and that it was especially bad the past couple days. That’s when I told him my bad mood had happened over the past couple days too. That was so weird. Paul is 13 months older than I am. I don’t know if there’s some chemistry going on there or what.

I’m feeling better now, though, after having the day off Saturday. I forgot my dark mood and threw myself into some house cleaning. But it’s back to work in the morning, so I hope the dark mood doesn’t return.

I use my main PC to view the comics on this site, and I view them using M$ Edge. I run two monitors and have Edge open on the left monitor, and Firefox open on the right monitor. Edge starts with eleven tabs, news, community stuff, and seven comics tabs, ‘Ten Cats’ being one of them. Firefox on the right monitor starts with fifteen tabs and is used for my general browsing, online shopping, and things like that. I’ve had this setup for several years now, and it’s been fine.

This morning when I tried to run the ‘GC Replies’ and ‘GC Links’ scrips (Found here for new viewers – http://worldofdt.info/gchelp.html ) from my favourites, they didn’t work, and I noticed that the way the favourites was displayed was different. This means that M$ Edge has had a sly update (I didn’t get asked about applying an update), and it’s decided to break the javascript code for enhancing the GC pages. It’s not a GC thing, as I opened the ‘Ten Cats’ page in Firefox and the scrips work just fine (If GC would get their rears into gear and implement this into their pages we wouldn’t need these ‘fixes’). This means that in order to view the images on the page, and easy open all the replies, I’m going to have to load the relevant comic page into Firefox. It’s not the end of the world, and it’s an easy workaround, IT’S JUST ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!

My morning has had a nice start – I stepped out on the porch with my coffee at 4 am to check out the night sky and a big fluffy skunk came around the corner and started up the steps. I said good morning, and s/he changed it’s mind and turned to hurry out through the gate. I probably looked pretty scary, should have combed my hair.

Is this the proposed strike settlement?

I need the DETOUR sign. I think the cats would like to post it on the bed and hassock. I have one-sided conversations with them about how it’s MY bed and MY hassock where MY feet go and they should move their furry little behinds. Then I go sit somewhere else.

I actually had a cat who was a pathfinder on our cross-country walks in the redwoods. Once it was time to go home, he would show us the “road” to get home in the quickest, most efficient manner. If the other cat tended to linger, he would ambush it and get it to chase him in the direction of home . Man, I really miss that cat.

Separated at birth? Ms. Lily and my Christopher? U Turn, REDUCE SPEED, Pant Shredding ZONE, and, Detour. .I’m sitting here, are daily warnings from my deadly serious, long haired, tuxedo guy. It’s a wonder he doesn’t charge us a toll to pass (the long way around…believe me…it’s safer).

The Christmas trip: I’m closer each day to canceling. Today I looked at the numbers in that area and they’re way up again.I asked Brad if he had a list of things to do while there. He said  ‘maybe.’  I asked what they were.  He had no answer. I went online again to see what there was to do.  Not a lot unless it’s winter sports.    I told him I was NOT going to sit in a hotel for a week asking “what are we doing today?”That was several hours ago.  He’s too engrossed in rodeo to do any research.  I told him a decision would be made by the end of the week.

A lot of cats (and possibly some humans) would find those cartoons quite useful. Brilliant comic today. I especially like the “U-TURN, I stay put!” sign. On another note, saw a wren while out walking today. I also saw four varied thrushes outside. Saw a nuthatch outside a couple days ago. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
