Normal snowmen are for mentally Illinois people after escaping the Normalites of Michigan.

Calvins’ snowmen are much more interesting then “normal”.

The great artists must see the world as a medium in which they work, then they express the work they did in their minds.

This design is just tremendous- it really comes off as an epic “monster leader”- the menacing head, the aimless “zombie” head, the random branches up top, the third arm- it’s incredible work.

To Calvin, “normal” is only a setting on the washer!

Apparently the “wake” of the moving snowman in the first frame was just imaginary or Calvin’s dad would have seen it and known there was something more to it than just being hideous.

See? Calvin is SO conceited! He should have said, “We tried, Dad! We tried!”

It’s those little voices in his head.

But I will say this. Calvin seems perfectly content in his own odd, goofball and warped out world as long as he has his buddy Hobbs.

For the love of … Sure, dad. And I’ll bet you would’ve asked Kid da Vinci why he couldn’t just draw a normal stick-figure man like all the other kids.

Calvin is going to need protection, maybe if he used protection to begin with he wouldn’t have a mutant snow goon.

Normal is as normal does. With apologies to Mama Gump.

I think the monster just needs a little love. Give him a coke and a smile.

I have composed a verse about the snow goon:

“Calvin’s first snow goon

Is a truly hellish soul.

His heart is made from frozen blood,

His eyes from the Devil’s coal."

Dad, just be glad Calvin doesn’t watch Doctor Who: Snow Daleks.

There’s no business like snow business, when the snow goes weird.

Remember ‘Alice the Goon’? Looked a lot like Olive Oyl, but bigger, more gangly, and more Night-of-the-Living-Dead-ish.

Being normal is not necessarily a virtue; sometimes it just denotes a lack of courage and imagination….
