Andy doesn’t see the value of bonding over video games with her son. Not when there are physical activities they can be partaking in like hiking, yard work and/or out door sports. Now who is up for some Frisbee Golf.
I don’t want to say I’m geeky, but I sent my first email from my house in 1986 and had two computers (networked together) by 1987. The two computers were R2D2 (because of the boot up noises it made) and of course, C3P0.
In the mid-nineties, I ordered a new computer from Tiger Direct. They boned me and sent a machine full of incompatible parts that was not what I paid for. I protested the charge on my credit card and got a full refund. They wouldn’t take the system back, so I used the parts to build a second machine. Those two, plus my original 486 machine and I suddenly had a three machine network!

Save that one to buy yourself, after you get a part time job.

this one is a little dated, nowadays it’s much more common to have more than one computer in a typical house hold.
