Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Sounded silly when Dem pres candidate HH Humphrey campaigned on that slogan in 1968, but it is very applicable this morning.

The inference is that today is a very good day to decide what to do with one’s life and get on with it.

May the new year be all you wish it to be. My wife and I wish you success.

Where is there a shoe store with actual salespersons? Not near me, you are lucky if you even spot an employee & that was BEFORE COVID…

Now, THAT’s aggressive salesmanship. LOL. :)

Bought a new pair of boots a couple of days ago. The store has all their boots out on racks sorted by size. Saw immediately what I wanted, tried the right one on to ensure it was properly size marked, and carried them to the counter with my card in hand. No conversation. No delay. I probably spent a total of 5 minutes in the store, including Visa transaction time. I like that.

Needs to work on his sales technique. However, he does look pretty good for his other job as a WWF wrestler…..

That is one employee who is not loafing on the job

It looks like the colorist got a little confused.

He’s putting up a pretty good argument for not wanting those shoes. You may have to wrestle his billfold away from him.

My family owned shoe stores and working in them was what inspired me to become a lawyer!
