The easy part is fixing the lights; fixing Amelia is going to be a bit more challenging, no matter how much current karma is gnawing on her.

How unfortunate that the mike didn’t lose electricity along with the lights. Amelia, why only pull one when there so many to choose from? This really could have been a two-for-one type situation.

I’m thinking of Billy Joel’s “And So It Goes”.

It’s funny that Chief Simpson over by the stage doesn’t seem to be trying to get the lights fixed. That’s ok; let Rose be the hero today.

Amelia: “This is going south! Wallace, where can I get a keg of catsup at this hour!?”

Plug! Plug! Plug!

Spud is sitting on the button. When the current is restored, will it pop up and sending flying into the crowd?

Spud is talking to the crowd? He’s on a roll.

And thus Amelia released the inner Spud, and consigned herself to self exile in her room with nothing but an industrial tub of ranch dressing and Gouda cheese to keep her company.

Gotta hand it to Spud for toughing it out. He’s a trooper. No wonder Wallace picked him for his team.

WAIT! Is Amelia feeling remorse? And HOORAY for Rose who saved the night!

And despite all of that, these three kids still manage to find the problem before the fire department (who I assume helped set this all up) did.

I was hoping for jokes, not monologues.

Just when you think “Wallace” can’t possibly get any funnier, it does. There’s always something new to make me crack up laughing. And it usually involves Spud. Go, Spud!
