I think it’s legit however that sort of thinking would keep people from falling for phone scams, hopefully. I hope that it’s good for something because it sure is a downer!

When did whimsy become lost on children?

I saw that calendar in the store. I didn’t buy it. I don’t get what is whimsical about it. And why the recent interest in goats? Goat yoga, goats in trees calendars, goats on roofs…

Most photo calendars are meant to be interesting and/or beautiful. Yet they make Betty feel miserable. This may explain a lot about the change in this strip.

Goats will climb trees if there is a good reason, like food. Never put your goats in an apple orchard, they will eat the apples and the twigs, then strip the bark.

Blame the internet, blame everything on the internet.

Goats usually need to be forced not to climb anywhere where they should not be as it won’t support their weight or should not be grazed bare or trodden to pieces.

As long as no trees were harmed in the goating of the calendar.

A friend of mine bought a miniature goat as a pet. He looked out of his window one morning and discovered the goat on the roof of his new car.

To Junior’s comment, yes and no. This is a tourist photo opportunity in Morocco, but, I also saw goats in trees with no tourists (or goatherds) around! But even for the tourists, the goats didn’t look forced.

he JUST had to ruin it for her. the goats jump up onto the branches to get the delicious fruit. it would really be a great thing to see.
