Ralph Kramden came out with something like that, decades ago. In one of the “lost” episodes, I think.

First box is a great gag all by itself.

It’s a classic and always funny.

The look that says, “One wise crack and you’re a roasted vulture, Gaylord!”

Glad I’m outta range, I couldn’t resist that straight-line either.

Sometimes you just have to let the strike go by and wait for the next pitch. :-)

Many years ago, I had a brain scan, and went to my doctor to hear the results. She told me they couldn’t find anything, and the look on her face when she realized what she had said, was priceless. We both had a good laugh over it because I knew what she meant.

I banged my head a few years ago and got that line from the ER doctors who had my head scanned and then evaluated the CT scan or MRI, whichever it was. Anymore, I think it’s standard doctor humor for the situation.

I ain’t touching this one with a warty pickle-nose nor a big buzzard beak!
