Who writes this sloppy dialog? The second panel should be âHow can only $200 enable you to open a jewelry store?â The play is all on two of the various meanings of the word âopenâ. Apt dialog would not have tipped readers off to the third panelâs punch line; indeed, it would have sucked them in even deeper.
