That note was actually put up there by a porch pirate, not by Ralph. “Whatever you do, DON’T ring the bell so I’ll have enough time to rip off their package before they come to the door.”

That is exactly what wiener dogs do.

And the other ones carp about the driver NOT ringing the doorbell. Ya’ can’t please everyone.

Dogs don’t need a door bell to be uncannilly aware of a presence on the other side of the front door.

May the Door Dash, Grub Hub, or Ubereats people never deliver there. Instacart, Amazon Prime, and pizza delivery, too.

What can brown and blue do for you?

Wally kept a copy for his resume. He liked the “otherwise he is very smart” part.

Another good thing about being home most of the time: porch pirates don’t have a chance. However, I live in a senior citizen’s gulag: they aren’t as quick, anyway.

What delivery guys ring the doorbell? All we ever get are stealth deliveries. Grubhub doesn’t even ring the doorbell.

Our doorbell’s been out of order for years. Currently, it’s just some bare wires sticking out of the wall. It’s probably not up to code, but as a hermit I rather like it this way. Plus there’s the added benefit of hearing the screams from missionaries who ignored the “No Soliciting” sign.

Some dogs will bark at anything.

Our house sits at the back of the lot and porch is barely visible from the cul-du-sac.

My dogs to a “T”, right down to the sign.

So, just knock on the door.

When did the Drabble’s get a double door? and where is Wally’s doggy door?

Ralph needs to take an effective writing course. State the message in as few words as possible to deliver the message.

Yes, that is definitely reality around our place as well. Ours isn’t a wiener dog, but he’s just as territorial as Wally.
