I always have a witty retort, but I’m usually not allowed to say it. Out loud.

You can always fall back on “Oh yeah?” (I’m leaving an opening here!)

Its only words. I’ll have the perfect response to this in a few years.

A common problem.. happens to me all the time.. takes at least a week for a snappy comeback that would have.. left my opponent on the floor.

My command of Spanish is like that. I rarely hear or speak Spanish, so when someone speaks to me in that language, I mumble a reply and the next day recall what I should have said. In one case, I realized that I had told a little girl that the “she should call herself her mother”. I had thought that was just the “little girl blank stare” until that point.

Kenny is a bully. Off with his head. P.S. Dave, the slow witted can deliver a knock-out punch immediately. Just make sure no cameras are around or it’s jail time.

Oh yeah? Well the jerk store called and they’re running out of you! (Anyone?)

And that’s why he’s a cartoonist, because it takes him at least a week to deliver a joke.
