For the Spring stimulus they sent me a debit card. I transferred the money off that card as fast as I could. I kept the card since there was talk about another stimulus payment. And I figured if there was another payment they would just put it on the debit card. But they threw me a curveball and sent a check this time. Why? I don’t know. But I’m still keeping the card in case there’s another stimulus payment and they decide to put it on the card instead of sending a check. Then again maybe they’ll send a new debit card with another account number.
It is wonderful! And if some people would wake up and realize we are surrounded by socialist constructs that make our lives better. Like volunteer fire departments. Capitalism robs from the poor and rewards the rich, socialism does the opposite!
Since Lumpy the Hutt put his name on the first check as a cheap political ploy, I used the money to support Democratic candidates. They stimulated the economy by winning races.
My Chrome book slipped into a coma, Tues. It was DOA at Best Buy. So I ended up stimulating there. The first one went to auto repair and paying off a personal loian.
Even if you don’t spend it but put it in the bank, the bank has that money to spend to stimulate the economy. That’s capitalism .
Sure, it would be great to send money directly to only the people that need it. Unfortunately, the need is so great that half the money would go to processing qualifying forms and investigations. As it is, it took the government 8 months instead of 4 to process my tax refiling. Imagine more paperwork from 250 million people.
