I have callouses on my fingers from doing this all the time.

Who buys £400 of groceries? I’d say a Brit at Costco.

It’s good to have a pouch.

And you need to balance them equally or you tip over going up the stairs.

Now we know how she stays in shape.

Not to mention lifting them all up at once and plopping them down on the counter.

She gets better sacks at the grocery store than I do. If I tried that, I wouldn’t make it halfway to the door before most of them would rip apart ! ! !

That’s me! I like to make one trip from car to house, but it is certainly no where near 400 lbs! With a nod to Templo S.U.D, I try to take a cart in from the parking lot to store and not take one out as well! ;-)

She went to the store for “just a couple of things.” A true Plugger.

Got THAT right! I have issues with the baggers that insist on putting one item in each bag. For one thing, I don’t want the extra plastic (usually carry my own but sometimes forget to bring them) and secondly I will not make repeated trips to carry it all in. So… they put two items in each bag, then double bag. I am not a grocery shopping fan.

Guess that makes me a Superman ’cause I do the same thing.

I always try, But my problem is I can’t lift my arms to close the “hatch” and no I don’t have a newfangled foot sensor (makes me a Plugger also)

I use my wheelbarrow!

I use an empty mop bucket with wheels to transport my groceries.

Those plastic bags can harm you fingers-my husband uses his wheel barrow the get all the groceries up our hill to the house. Get something with wheels, you will save yourself.

Her real power shows when she opens the kitchen door with her mouth

She’s even stronger than that. She’s usually also a Grandmother…..

This usually occurs when my wife says she is only going to pick up “a couple of things.”

Curses on those grocery clerks who put one thing in each bag!

Except now in NY, Plastic grocery bags are illegal!

Not really a pluggerism, but this comic reminds me of a weird situation with my sister-in-law. She and my brother lived in a rural area where bears were sometimes seen. She was terrified of bears, so after grocery shopping, she would send my young nephews out to bring the groceries in!
