Why ask why? Have you socked away enough scratch to sit back and watch your waistline spread?

People ask me, “Are you still working?”

I reply, “No, I’m just doing something I like and convinced someone to pay me for it.”

Not long at all, if you’re one of those with an “entitled” mentality: “Why work? The government will give me everything I need for FREE!”

As a housewife, I never get to retire. And with the retired husband at home, the work doubles.

Not long enough. I miss working and have a purpose to get up for. Add to that my wife is always home, it’s a double whammy.

Be thankful you have a job. On the first day of Biden in office he killed over 7,000. So, don’t complain there are more people to be made unemployed to come.

My Dad is 69, will be 70 in July, and he still works mostly part-time hours ( he has his own commercial cleaning business and has cut down a major amount of jobs he does the last couple of years) and gets half his allowed social security. I always have told him he will be 90 and still pushing around a floor scrubber and a mop.

I miss work. It ended when I was 34. The wheelchair was three years later.
