The High Sierra is in the midst of a massive 3 day blizzard/snowstorm, the likes of what hasn’t been seen in decades. Highway 395, the only way in and out (140 + miles) is shut down until Friday as the plows simply cannot keep up. The mountains have received up to 12 feet and counting, and the valley towns just north of me are currently measuring 18 inches. WE GOT ONLY ONE HALF INCH!!!! So maddening!!!

Up north in Park City, they get to have a lot of snow. We could’ve been up there if we weren’t stuck here. I could be wearing my new kitty sweater or my new red penguin sweater or my new red coat – all of which I bought for the canceled trip to Colorado. Grrrr

Where’s bbear?

:sigh: I usually do have fun at my job, I’m a nanny so I mostly play as the kids are younger and the learning is through playtime. But my boss tested positive and I’m in quarantine till I can get tested Monday (you have to wait at least 5 days or there is an increased rate of false negatives). So no fun at work for me today. It is late now, maybe I’ll make pancakes for breakfast in the morning?

My, Chesney sure is a stubborn little twit. Makes sense that he won’t listen to logic. On another note, saw a squirrel and three varied thrushes while out walking today. I also saw a deer outside.

Ge’cher seed bags out. Sweetpea’s birds have landed. For all Catters, except the ‘non dedicated one’.
