He’s shown a marked preference for Gravy Train. With gravy!

Rover: “Well. Hmm. You never asked before. I just always ate whatever you gave me. Do I have a choice now?” (“Saying ‘No’ doesn’t mean I don’t love you.”)

My Scottie Susie would give us a sad look if she didn’t get gravy type dog food.

My two Golden Retrievers ate Iams and both lived to be 15 years old. My vet suggested Blue Buffalo for Newton when he was a puppy but it just didn’t agree with him. He’s been on something similar to Iams for 5 years now, is very healthy—and he loves it, although he’d probably eat anything I put down!

It looks as though it is one of Rover’s least favourite dog foods if not his least favourite and he isn’t going to give himself an untrustworthy reputation by endorsing it.

Dry dog food – that which sustains dogs when the table scraps are not forthcoming.

Given how much he loves to eat, I’m surprised he doesn’t love all dog food.

It depends what the grand prize is. If it is just free dog food, never mind. If it is a cash prize that can be used to buy better dog food, or STEAK, that’s a different story!
