Rover: âWell. Hmm. You never asked before. I just always ate whatever you gave me. Do I have a choice now?â (âSaying âNoâ doesnât mean I donât love you.â)
My two Golden Retrievers ate Iams and both lived to be 15 years old. My vet suggested Blue Buffalo for Newton when he was a puppy but it just didnât agree with him. Heâs been on something similar to Iams for 5 years now, is very healthyâand he loves it, although heâd probably eat anything I put down!
It looks as though it is one of Roverâs least favourite dog foods if not his least favourite and he isnât going to give himself an untrustworthy reputation by endorsing it.
It depends what the grand prize is. If it is just free dog food, never mind. If it is a cash prize that can be used to buy better dog food, or STEAK, thatâs a different story!
