Besides the ones on that list, toxic houseplants include all species of Euphorbias, such as the Christ plant (aka “Christ plant”, “Christ thorn” or “crown of thorns”), pencil cactus, poinsettias, and African milk tree (aka “cathedral cactus”, “Abyssinian euphorbia”, and “high chaparall”) (The sap from all of those plants is toxic, so make sure children and pets don’t get at it.) Peace lilies, philodendrons, and at least some kinds of ivy can also be toxic, as well as (believe it or not) aloe vera.
