I learned the absolute importance of careful cleaning when I lived in cockroach country (Houston) for a quarter of a century or so that lasted a little less than two actual calendar years. Because, as bad as having you foot chewed, stepping on those things in the dark has got to be at least as bad.
Back when I had cats, I had some extended family come visit from “the far east” evidently they had socks that were made from something other than cotton, because the cats clearly thought they were catnip and would not leave my family member’s feet alone!

When Earl has sore feet he may think, “My dogs are hurting.”
Now his dog is hurting his dogs.

When we eat on the couch while watching TV, our cat is always sniffing around us just in case we dropped something. She esp loves Cheetos crumbs. :)

For us with 3 dogs, one of the 3 if food on clothing tries to go for a feast. Not like Rosoe.

Dogs will NEVER eat their owners if the owner dies, even if it takes a while to find their body. Cats WILL eat their expired owner.

As a Poster-Boy for horror movies, I happen to know he won’t begin until he has pooped and peed several times around your corpse.

Don’t worry, Earl. A dog will never eat it’s owner. Just keep an eye on the cat!
