A trip from The Pentagon to Conniption involves a wood-fired steam engine into town, followed by a one-horsepower horse out to the crash site… I’ve got to admit that Gen. Gantry is not letting the disorientation get to him.

Though instead of a Washington insider, maybe the Army should have sent that old cavalry man Col. Potter – a man with plenty of horse sense…
