Big Cable (as opposed to Big Brother) is watching you! ;D

I haven’t had cable for some time. Don’t miss it.

If the cable lost its audio, they’d say they can still hear us.

Lost your picture. Where was you when you had it last. It could still be there.

That’s because they are spying on you all the time! Think of the ’you’re watching XYZ’ announcements! How do they know what you’re watching if they aren’t inside your house?

“Oh. Okay. As long a you can see me, that’s all that really matters.”

I worry about that? Am I watching the TV, or is the TV watching Me???

Big brother is watching you. I would wager that big sister and big mother are watching as well.

This is why I “watch TV” through my PC rather than buy a dedicated TV. My PC monitor is sharper than any TV I can afford. What it doesn’t have is a variety of “helpful” services offering to monitor what I watch and sell me more programs. I don’t need a vending machine in my living room.
