The lady might have preferred going to The Dump – at least the nightclub going by that name at the end of “My Man Godfrey”.
Also, in our first offering today, looks to me like the Umbrella Man’s cover has been blown…

1. Poor Bozo must’ve been thrown outta his home by landlord for not paying rent. So he gots to sleeps in a park by the streets now.
2. Bozo always on a tight budget. But dang, those classy dames of the 1940’s. You could be able to dates them even though you was a poor Bozo.
3. Maybe Bozo impressed the dame with his basketball tricks. Em dames kinda like sports stars don’t they.
