1 I don’t blame Bozann being angry. She wanted the bathroom painted, not the kitchen.

2 Went through a peck of trouble to be as tall as her.

3 Must be checking the box scores or he’d notice the breeze.

These young people with wandering around with their eyes glued to their gizmos, oblivious to traffic and things around them!

Also, it’s interesting that some of the many details (as I’m sure Gent will point out) is how they tie this timeless humour to a timeline – light green kitchens have been out of fashion for half a century or more now I think.

    1. Well, there goes Bozanne’s new mixer! Bozo gots his cheeks painted pink with his hands painted red.

    2. Wasting food is not cool, Bozo. Just think about poor hungry ones like me.

    3. Peoples these days may blames mobile phones. But the real culprits is the peoples themselves!

And as usual, great content with great artwork. And once again, a big thumbs up for Foxo’s Bozo!

    1. Don’t cha just loves the background depths through the doorway and windows in the first one? Even the indoor scenes has a three dimensional aspects too, with the inner doorway, refrigerator (?), Kitchen counter and the gadgets on it.

    2. Every scene in this one is also realistically rendered with three dimensional depths. It’s like a cartoon world with cartoon characters but yet a world which follows realistic perspectives.

    3. Backgrounds are simpler in this one, but still works giving a great depth to the scenes. Umbrella guy’s main job inneach strip is to add depths as his relative size creates a depth perception in additional levels. Plus it adds intrigue to newcomers and amuses the regulars.

The master of magnificent perspective, Foxo Reardon, and his marvellous masterpiece, Bozo. An artful exhibition of excellent art of comics and cartooning.

The first two strips reveal that Bozo’s ingenuity can be clever but wasteful.

The third strip has Bozo way too absorbed in an article about a need for increased pedestrian safety.

    1. Bozo really got himself into a real mix-up with his gal.

    2. This was a two purpose idea. 1) Bozo now can reach the counter and 2) when Bozo comes back for the spuds, he’ll have mashed potatoes.

    3. The news article Bozo was reading must have been very interesting. So I will assume the article was about Bozo.

Every time I look at Bozo, he has that look of a “Man on a Mission.” Like fast running Steam Locomotive, cigar in mouth with smoke showing his speed and intensity. I remember listening to the late Jackie Gleason talk about his character Ralph Kramden of the HONEY MOONERS. Ralph was not a bad guy, yes he was loud, and semi bully, but he was always trying to make his wife happy and he never really wanted the riches for just himself, but for his wife and his friends. Bozo is a lot like Ralph Kramden.

I think strip #3 would make a good newspaper ad for any business. “Here’s Bozo absorbed in reading about our product (or service).” Or words to that effect.

2 of the 3 comics today are about Bozo’s seat-of-the-pants ingenuity.

    1) Stirrings: Bozo needs to mix his paint before going to work. He improvises using the batter mixer. Bozann is not happy.

    2) Sitting: Bozo needs a boost at the bar so he empties out a tall basket of potatoes and has one!

    3) Reading is fundament (al): Bozo’s walking and reading the newspaper. A car comes behind him and clips him! He feels some pain, damaged pants and just keeps on walking and reading.

Didn’t notice when first reading Bozo that each strip has a title. Real nice touch. Shows true dedication to the art form.

I can only think of Bill Griffith as a cartoonist still doing that today.
