JJ has been peaking again. This is my wife. She cuts the CVS coupons to write notes on this and that and these and those. She says she’ll stop just as soon as I start keeping track of this and that and these and those.
I won’t suggest this to my wife either. She has enough lists. I add her grocery list to a shopping speak to text app on my phone which makes it easier to delete instead of crossing out and trying to find items in between.
It took me a long time to learn that once my list had a page worth of stuff on it – it was time to start taking stuff off by getting it done. My “cut line” is about one hand written page of notes.
One of my ex’s took time to find out which days of the week she feels most comfortable doing particular sets of duties, now grooves on those seven sets weekly.
I use my old Palm Centro as a PDA and sync it with my old Lotus Organizer in my computer – all lists, notes, appointments to dos etc are in both easy to remember where they are and the Palm has alarms set as reminders. I use the calendar in my current phone for some items and what has to remembered when away from the house in normal times we are out of the house. (I have never found a better or even equal program to L.O. since which is why my poor husband has to make my computers deal with it – my Win 7 desktop and my Win 10 laptop all have Win XP virtual machines so that I keep using it.

What? Digital Janis who does everything with her phone doesn’t keep her to do lists on it?

It’s enough to drive one to drink – soon, she’ll be listing to port!

Too many lists? We’ve got an app for that. ListEnder makes those list magically disappear.

I make to do lists every day but then run out of time to do anything.
Eventually I will get it done when I get a round tuit. Please do not send your tuits.

Some one forgot to colorize her hand and drawer knob in the last panel.

Lists of lists is a database.

She could probably keep up with the lists if she didn’t put them in the kitchen junk drawer.

Is Janis getting frumpy?

Careful, Janis! Next you’ll be making lists that don’t include themselves, and next thing you know you’ll be caught in Bertrand Russell’s paradox!

Good thing Janis has Arlo, today she looks like she has no visible means of support, other than him.

Does Janis have a smart phone?

Janis can take a joke and utilize it, smart woman!

Poor Janis is talking to herself.
Arlo needs to be careful with what he jokes about. It reminds me of an administration at work once that actually had meetings to plan meeting!

I use old business cards for notes, especially grocery lists. My husband uses the non-printed side of paper. Either way, our den is a mess.
