I had a pileated woodpecker coming around and feeding on carpenter bee larvae underneath my balcony deck. His hammering actual shook the house. My girlfriend said, “It feels like he’s coming through the wall.” He left chunks of wood about the size of your little finger.

RUN!

You would have felt the hammerings of woodpecker that size.

“All right, gave it your way. You heard a seal bark.”

That could be the one that was hammering on the side of my house the other day.

It’s what you call beak performance. Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.
