After Spook hugged his wife and and daughters – Sarah and Emma, Wizard asked: “Alright, what should we do first?” “Plan a rebellion against our king”, Bung said. “Yeah, but how should we get into the kingdom? He won’t let us in!” “I know!” Sarah exclaimed. “One of us will smuggle Rodney. He’ll tell the whole truth to his friends from army. Then, Wizard will transform himself into something that can fly and open the gate. Finally, he’ll fly to the king’s chamber. What do you think?” “The plan is good, but who’s gonna smuggle me?” Rod said. Everyone looked at Emma. She said: “Don’t look at me like that! I’m not gonna do this! What am I, a tool to realize your plan?!” We all withered. We were such hypocrites! We wanted to stand against the king, who used us to realize his plan, but we all were using Emma! I replied: “Okay, we’re gonna give you a break. I’ll sneak him into the kingdom”.

Being demeaned by one’s captors is a running theme in most prisons. But, still, there is dignity in the cheek turning of the prisoner who strives to live on in the face of hardships. Prisoners often work to survive in the harsh environment of incarceration.
