Seems like the eternal struggle. I’ve often complemented my wife and always tell her how beautiful she is to me, still is, but she doesn’t want to believe it. Women are too hard on themselves.

Looks like a Women are from Venus thing. A woman looks in a mirror to worry about her faults. A man looks in a mirror and thinks “Not bad.”

I would never point out any physical flaws to my partner. If he doesn’t see them I’m not going to give him any ideas that I’m not perfect.

When is she going to come to the realization it ain’t gonna get any better, so accept who she is. You age more mentally lamenting then rejoicing. Besides she has a husband that dotes on her all the time.

There are so many ways for women to be beautiful. Some involve external markers of reproductive fitness and speak directly to the lizard brain. They make men goofy and other women shrewd but those attractions fade with age. Other ways of being beautiful are spiritual rather than biological and those intensify with age.
