She is wondering how she could be so lucky as to snag this guy.

Eat the soup and you’ll have butterflies in your stomach.

Most body parts remain and some are changed before the butterfly emerges.

I used to stop at Pea Soup Andersen’s when taking the kids to or from college (one @ UCLA, one @ UCSD). It was a good spot for lunch.

There’s immature, rolled up bits of butterfly in the soup. If you carefully dissect the mature caterpillar before it pupates, you can find the same bits.

It is probably best not to even eat pea soup (yuck), so perhaps he was doing his wife a favor?

I honestly never knew that about a pupa. Comics aren’t just for laughing.

Interesting biology info. Who can eat without talking between bites? Who enjoys watching someone shovel their meal in as fast as possible? It’s generally not a pretty sight and requires much cleaning up afterwards. Like a 2-year-old child, although most of them even are social enough to jabber along during a meal off and on.

Perhaps she meant pee soup. If so, I’ll pass.

A suspect a butterfly stroke might occur.
