I hear ya, Spring is just now turning everything green again and that summer heat will soon be here to do all that mowing in. I hate that !

If God wanted me to cut grass, He wouldn’t have invented teenagers.

My sister is chomping at the bit wanting to plant flowers. Every year she plants tons of annuals and by July she is grumping because she has to water everyday. :D

My first mow of the year, I swear the mower has gained weight and the yard has gotten bigger.

Yeah, gotta service the lawn mower today and back to grind.

Eno just hates “WORK”!!!

Don’t water and fertilize your grass, just encouraging it to grow and then it needs mowing.

Here in Florida we’ve already cut lawn twice.

At my latitude, I have another 6-8 weeks before mowing.

Snow is a four-letter word!

Gotten to the age I pay to get all that stuff done! Too many skeeters, gnats and other marsh bugs.

Wouldn’t dare move the snow blower and shovels for at least two more months here, it would cause a blizzard

I learned late last fall that my oldest likes to mow the lawn. Best $5 I have spent in long time. Me and their sibling just laid on the hammock or sat on the deck while they mowed the lawn.

Best excuse to have that cold beer on a hot day. Eno on the the hand doesn’t need an excuse.

yep… I have a friend who HATES the cold weather and mumbles about it for months, then warm weather arrives – massive celebration – followed VERY shortly after with comments on how hot it is (I don’t say anything)

Condo living is the life for me, but wife won’t hear of it.

I have a riding mower. So, at least, it’s a sit-down job. It doesn’t ride very well though, keeps spilling my beer.

You don’t freeze off body parts doing the lawn and it looks nice when done. Snow removal on the other hand requires 20 lbs of ugly clothing and looks awful when completed, oiles of dirty snow on top of piles, and doesn’t necessarily remove all of it, which leads to iciness, often black ice. I vote for summer anytime.

Yesterday, here in Phoenix, I had to shovel two feet of sunshine…
