Good morning lightenup, Susan Newman and the rest. The more I reread these past Cathy’s, the more confused I am that Irving married Cathy. Maybe he’s a masochist.

Why did she accept the invite? I’m a little baffled by it all. But Cathy being Cathy must be true to her usual barmy self, I guess.

Good afternoon fellow Cathy nuts, I’m wondering if Irving will get her out of the car when they get there. I see a big meltdown coming her way!!

The sane person coulda been you too Cathy, but that ain’t gonna happen either. Why wish for what you can’t have? My flawed man instinct says that the bride probably won’t be that slim and Cathy will gloat for months.

Nice to have Susan back again. :-) AnonaMona isn’t it frustrating when there are Internet connection issues? We had one in February and weren’t here for 3 – 4 days. We have Internet, TV, land line and cell phone in a bundled package. Thankfully the provider gave us a credit for the downtime.

Mom, you need a clone so we don’t have to be missing you for a day or two. Who else is gonna give Cathy (and sometimes her mom) a good stern lecture if not for you? :-)

kittycatpawsare LOL you’re right about LMB. When his internal clock says bedtime, he sits near the door to our upstairs den (one flight up from our bedrooms) or downstairs at the living room entrance. When he hears “Okay buddy . . . done!” he becomes a guided missile and takes off. We have polished wood floors and sometimes he can’t get a toe hold. :-D

Aaron called after two EMS runs. He says there’s no sign of the cake and only a clean stack of plates and the cake pan to show for it. Yeah we do rock, don’t we? :-D

RATS! I got here too late. Just caught up on all the comments since last Thursday and noted that I missed out on several delicious looking desserts. Looks like I missed another one. Tomorrow maybe I will read the comments a little earlier in the day – before the dessert is all gone. lightenup – I waved to you yesterday afternoon! Our flight back from Orlando was diverted further west than normal because of weather. I woke up from a nap, looked out the window and saw we were directly over Atlanta. I seem to remember (but my memory is not necessarily accurate) that you live in the Atlanta area so I waved. Hi to all the Cathy Nuts here today. Hope you are all having a good week – no matter what the weather is like. (30C+ when we boarded the plane, 4C when we got off in North Bay. Quite a shock to the system. Luckily I had a jacket in the car for warmth while loading the luggage.)
