    Tony’s QOTD: Then or now?

There are good things and bad things to say about both. But I wouldn’t take the then over the now since 12/2/1987. That’s when I met my wife and I still vividly (in color) remember the first time I saw her.

At best, all your software would be Text Based before the wide use of graphics cards. You think the kid can handle that?

Yeah, simple – try learning how to create macros from a poorly written instruction book (if you had one) and trying to find all the 5 1/4 disks to load that new upgrade. I’ll pass!

It’s good to have memories, even better to be able to remember.

I prefer to live in the here and now. So many things have improved over time and I embrace technology. We have a tiny little piece of plastic that has the computing power of 60’s UNIVAC, in the palm of our hands.

Best part was when the computer and the modem shook hands. Seems like everyone just got along better back then.
