Now, would you rather have your coffin draped with this fine cloth or would you rather be cremated in the nice vase that Jessica picked out?

You better decide soon. You don’t have much time!

The old men were rather tidy so Jessica was rather happy being their housekeeper. She just wished they better remembered her name. Like when Frederick handed her the vase, saying “you got it maid”. Yes, she has it made.

Jessica collected antiques. She had picked up the two gentlemen as a matched set at a garage sale.

Aunt Jane didn’t know the body didn’t go in the vase until it was cremated and Uncle Joe figured he’d just throw an old sheet over the old coot.

Carl Spielter documents the very first occurrence of: “With each purchase, you get this Grecian Urn.” “What’s a Grecian Urn?”

    A Discerning Collector

    https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Carl_Johann_Spielter_-_A_Discerning_Collector_-_1911.jpg

has info and links that point to info about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting. File history has the strip coloration image.

    https://www.the-athenaeum.org/people/detail.php?ID=7604

    http://www.askart.com/artist/Carl_Johann_Spielter/11131624/Carl_Johann_Spielter.aspx

both have info, or links that point to more info, about this artist (again, if truncated, the last can be read in full for free on Fridays), perhaps in addition to what’s pointed to by the title URL, which indirectly points to his German Wikipedia page:

    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Johann_Spielter

and links it points to (again, Google Chrome can automatically translate as necessary). So far, 3 works by him have been used here.

    https://www.gocomics.com/that-is-priceless/2021/03/12?comments=visible

has the prior (my comment there pointed to the same artist info URLs, the first of which may be unresponsive).

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (⌘- or Ctrl-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #2663 (March 15, 2021) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment.

The woman and the vase came as a matched set. But you had to buy the fabric by the bolt.

If you aren’t interested in the urn; I do have a second hand shroud. It was last used about 1880 years ago.
