Wallace understands Spud. Amelia understands Spud. Spud’s taking the “F”.

She’s bad to the bone.

I see Amelia is sittin’ in the corner.

Wallace won’t eat either, to show his support!

What grade are they in?

No seagull today. It must be in the lunchroom already.

Offer him a double lunch to study

Spud loves to eat and hates exercise. He should be twice as big as he is!

Eat before the test.

Compromise. Part of the lunch now and the rest after the test and shut up Amelia…..

Admittedly, back when I was their age, I’d have probably just taken the F myself.

Was there ever a more worried face than Spud’s worried face? Love those expressions.

Spud – think of it like you would a competition, you want to be light and sharp for the test, you want to be HUNGRY for that A! :-)

Never got an ‘F,’ but always thought it sounded kinda fun.

If that would’ve been my only 2 choices in high school – I’d have never graduated.

It says “study DURING lunch” not “study INSTEAD of lunch”.

Not a good double tasker eh

don’t listen to Amelia. she doesn’t care if you fail. eat a little something before you study. you’ll be able to concentrate more instead of thing what you will be having to eat when your done.

Our prof for the “Bio for NonMajors” course sat us down for a midterm and doled out mini candy bars to keep our blood sugar up…she said.

Amelia is a realist, gotta give her that.
