I recently saw an episode of “Agatha Christy’s Miss Marple” set about 1920. A character had a Kodak Brownie camera with which he secretly took repeated pictures: click, click, click, click, just as we would expect of a modern camera. But the producers of the program didn’t bother to show that the camera had to be manually wound after each shot to advance the film.
Ok here’s the conundrum, Eddie’s been around since 1996, long before smart phones became ubiquitous, but he’s still roughly the same age. So how far back does his memory go?

We’re not putting as many photos in long term storage, but we’re taking a lot more of them. I think the outcome is a wash.

Legit question. For a tad. My youngest is 24, and he took a digital camera on his big HS trip.

Things I don’t miss about the past…
Waiting 4 days to see how my photos turned out.
Waiting for the dial tone, or for the busy signal to clear when making a call.
And who ran up this long-distance bill with two 1-hour calls to Topeka, KS?
