1955 freshman year at RISD, Providence RI, I roomed with 2 other RISD freshmen on a 3rd story of an old house. Owner lived on the first floor, an elderly couple on the 2nd. When practicing tenor banjo my feet stomped/tapped along with every song. Elderly couple below complained their antique ceiling lamp swayed back & forth, & fragile dishes danced along in a cabinet.
Now in my mid 80s still manage to keep the rust off the strings of a tenor banjo:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GZKvBq4mZ9Fqs3MdXl2pzIJcysUCtED8/view?usp=sharing
Celebrated first Moderna vaccination Feb. 1st with my version on Pete Seeger’s Coal Creek March on 5-string banjo:
That’s great, here in 3C we clean our weapons each night and occasionally unload a few rounds into the ceiling trying to kill the cockroaches hiding up there. And don’t tell the super, but we vented our grow room up into your master. Thanks for stopping by!

That’s interesting. I teach Krav Maga, and my husband plays bagpipes all night.

Then they had three kids and got divorced. He moved out. I moved to live in the flat they show as 3C. (I moved out about 2 years later.)

Time to call the landlord! Or maybe landlord is trying to get rid of nice, quiet couple so they can sell the place?

You’d think they’d at least bring a bottle of wine as a house warming gift.

A yappy dog beats all that. I hate yappy dogs that bark all the time.
