I took my wine and a can of peanuts down to my neighbor’s back patio, and we talked for 3 hours…no masks. First time in over a year. Hooray for the vaccine!
Today is:National No Housework Day. I think I can handle that!
National Walking Day. I’ll be doing plenty of that at work.
National Beer Day. None for me, thanks.
National Girl Me Too Day
National Coffee Cake Day.
National Bookmobile Day
Childhelp National Day of Hope
Back to work day for me. I just finished 4 wonderful, fantastic, glorious, super fantastic days off with fabulous weather – temps in the mid to upper 70’s and abundant sunshine and mild breezes. I practically lived outside from late morning until 7 pm or so each day, doing yard work, reading and going for walks. I got to open some windows and let some fresh air in the house. And I washed my bedding and hung it on the clothesline so my bedding will smell very nice when I go to bed (which I will be doing soon). Now we have rain on the way, so going back to work won’t be too awfully hard to do.
How did he convince the mouse to accompany him? I miss my hive that disappeared a few years ago, but at least I have plenty of bees. AND I have found more than a few dozen tiny apricots ( there should be several hundred) on our trees that were blooming in late February when it snowed. And 6 plums on a tree that also produces hundreds. We usually lose half the plums to the wind and I plan to bag them with little nylon pouches to help protect them. The cherry and peach trees are in full bloom – paws crossed!
I suppose Donny Most people don’t understand St. Michael’s Buzzers. ( Donny Most was on ‘Happy Days’ a show that was nothing like the real Milwaukee.)
So, a day I don’t want to repeat. My company truck was serviced last week, today I pulled up at home and got out to find that the locking wheel nut (Lug nut) on the drivers front wheel was half undone off the threads. I then went indoors to find that Misty had thrown up blood on the kitchen floor. She had an emergency trip to the vet, she’s back home with a batch of antacid treatment as they think it’s being caused by acid reflux. She’s really going through the mill, poor thing :-(
Tomorrow I’m going to drive to the Ford garage that serviced the Ranger last week (It’s still got five nuts holding the wheel on, it’ll be fine) and dump the wheel nut on their desk and ask them how strict their safety procedures are.
People like having beehives above their tables? Since when? I’m surprised Jack (Chesney’s usual partner in crime) isn’t on the loading dock with him. On another note, saw two juncos, a rough skinned newt, and a raven while out walking today. I was worried about the newt, since it was sitting in the road. (Didn’t want it to get run over.) Fortunately, it moved off to the side.

You would think Ches would have furnished the LD with a bed and at least a chair by now!

I notice this is by Bluebell. Does she think indoor beehives are a good thing? And Chesney, how did you ever pull such a stunt?

Bees are good, but I don’t want them in my house, above the table or anyplace else!

All my cats have been more outdoor than indoor, and I’ve not had a one who liked bees. The more aggressive bees would chase my cats away.
