Is the earthquake Chesney shaking with fear, or Lily pounding him into the ground? If it’s the second, I hope she told Oliver to run or close his eyes. There are things a sweet kitten shouldn’t see.

Chesney’s reaction shows he’s able to recognize authority, just not Annie’s apparently…… He’s more responsive to Lily’s wallop than Annie’s nurturance-
