Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Aha, can top this one ;-). I once had to ride in the back seat of a 70’s Pinto with another person for a three hour trip. (The larger sedan originally planned had last minute problems). Oh yeah, and with luggage! I was not at all sure my legs would ever unfold and I am 5’5”.
I once saw a brand new Mercedes parked next to a Plugger’s beat up old pickup truck at a barbecue joint. If you really want it, the rootbeer, you will go get it and not worry about your hair. This is rootbeer we are talking about.
To bad you didn’t have a VW Beetle handy. My 6’5" son drove one with headroom left to spare when he was young. It was amazing, sort of like a clown car in the circus. Still only sat 2 in the back but it wasn’t bad for room either as I recall.

You should have driven doggy style with your head out the window. Maybe Gocomics can get a three year old child to fix their update problem.

I would have thought Swedes, descendants of Vikings that they are, would have had headroom for swarthy warriors as a design goal.

That makes it safer. In the event of a roll-over accident, your hair bun serves the same function as packing peanuts.

6’2" here, and I still miss my ’76 Honda Civic.
As for the bun, maybe let your hair down once in a while.

Stuck in a bun rut. Maybe a Princess Leia would fit.

Oh please. Try the back seat of a 71 Kahrmann Ghia. It was my car and I thought I would never have to ride back there. Ahh. I loved that car.

You know it’s serious when Amanda draws eyes. Mmmm, rootbeer. Better yet, a rootbeer float.

I have the opposite problem. At 5’1" I often have to ask strangers in the grocery store if they would please reach something on the top shelf.

True story…I once read about a man who had a Volvo that he had owned for 20+ years. At the time, he had over 1 million miles on it.

Sounds like another chapter in “Amanda gets a Grip” :)
