The guy making money at a hedge fund is the manager. He wins no matter how the assets perform. They’re not much better than a vulture fund, only because they tend to keep companies running. Like vulture funds they, move assets on the books to make a stock look good and then they dump and move onCryptocurrencies are a ponzi scheme. They limit availability and then hype the product. At some point the bubble will burst. It’s like using Pokemon cards for cash.

Wordless, he slowly turned and made his way back to the bar where he had lunch. Set ‘em up again, Sam. I’ve just been downsized.

Sometimes retirement and redundancy hit you when you least expect it. Even if you see it coming.

Ransomware gangs on the dark internet extort bitcoins as ransom after they attack a company or city computer system. if bitcoins flopped it would be easier to catch those dark internet hackers

Buy my money! It’s backed by the Federal Government (and God). See where it says on the back? “IN GOD WE TRUST.”

Everyone else pays in negotiable commodities.*

The term golden parachute bothers me for two reasons: not a lot of buoyancy in gold and a lot of strings that have no flight control.
