I am impressed. Look @ the helmet, air tanks, and space jumper suit. I am calling out Red on the space jumper. All of us kids from the 60’s & 70’s are not in the least fooled Red. A ha, that space suit is nothing more than repurposed footy pajamas. LOL

I mentioned on Wednesday that the presence of an Apollo 11 model in Red’s bedroom helps us to place this adventure after the first moon landing in 1969. Today’s “Houston, we have a problem” suggests that it also takes place after the Apollo 13 space mission in 1970. I’d like to think that we are seeing a strip commemorating the 50th anniversary of a Red and Rover adventure which took place in 1971.

Red needs to find a copy of a little paperback titled You Can Teach Your Dog to Eliminate on Command. It worked with my dogs, and the dogs of several people I’ve told about it.

Roger does not mean “yes.” It means “message received.”
