Note guys in P2 smiling at girls in P3, who aren’t exactly reciprocating with come hither looks. And isn’t Ricozzi’s Milford’s local imitation of a 5 star restaurant? Is The Bucket closed?

P1 creep up from the mound to short pitch a batter and you deserve to get beaten over the head with his bat

Katy must have gotten a large allowance from (Insuffer)Abel in anticipation of the compensation he will receive with his appointment to the library board for her to have the means to take poor, broke Zane(y) to a fancy place, hope the food has more color there than at the Burritos house

Zane couldn’t win, but Morton Levi almost gave him a loss.

Further confirmation this strip exists in a time warp somewhere near the mid 1950s. Morton? Who names their kid Morton anymore? What’s next, Isadore? Melvin?

P1, Not really sure what the hell is going on here. Is Morton throwing the pitch and if so why is the catcher walking away? I don’t really think any sort of sharp hit came from a swing like that. This is just a mess even for the artwork in this strip.

P2, It seems pretty obvious why these 3 are riding the bench.

P3, This is Milford. We go to The Bucket or nowhere at all!

P3- Susan Olsen, Becca Ramirez’ friend has been pushed out of the clique with Katy Brito involved in this plot. CK looks like someone put Atomic Balm in her shorts. Someone wrote long ago you can’t start a fire without a spark.

They don’t go anywhere without Vic. They are part of his stable

P 4: “…uh, like, no one…”

So that’s a no decision for Zane, a blown save, and a relief win for the bullpen. This isn’t any conference championship team we are looking at here.

Why does this strip sound like it lifted the newspaper blurb about last night’s Phillys game??

In all reality , speaking of stopping off, Marty’s heading to the Do Drop Inn for a couple of shots & beers, maybe more than a couple .

Why does the girl in the middle have her arm around Becca, and why is she wearing just her jersey? Or does the first question make the second one redundant?

Where is the Charlie Brown-style panel 2, where the turbulence sends Morton spinning backwards off the mound and rips off his uniform? Well, that’s one way to pick up the W!

I think we’re all missing the most confusing element, today. I want to know why/how Katy morphed into Jughead in P-3. Will Zane go on to greatness as Bazooka Joe?
