Elizabeth, you’re a bad role model for your kid sister!

I thought we saw a comic strip a few weeks back where April was feeding herself, which is something you might expect a girl of 1 year and 3 months to be able to do. I am little surprised she has regressed to where Elly is feeding her by hand again. Maybe this is a story set a few months into the past and we are seeing a flashback.

April finally figured out how to do it. Shouldn’t she be rewarded?

Spoiler Alert…… spoilers below… …… ………… …… …. Granthony and Therese’s kid, Francois, by this age was speaking in full sentences and was almost wise enough to begin offering insightful comments about adult relationships. Meanwhile, April still has to be fed by her mother…. She’s either regressed, or she has developmental issues…

Elizabeth must have removed her glasses between the first and second frame.

    Lynn’s Comments:

When I was a kid, I loved to teach my younger brother to do stuff our mom would object to. For example, I got him to thump back and forth in his stroller so it was harder to push, and I showed him how to bite the bottom off his ice cream cone so the ice cream would drip through. I don’t know why I did these things. The results didn’t go well for either of us.

You don’t have to teach them. It’s natural.

Don’t teach the baby goat to butt, don’t teach the human baby to spit, They never know the appropriate times to do either, but they always learn the trick really fast….

A similar unanticipated consequence: My sister and I were staying at my aunt’s house. We entertained ourselves one day by teaching her cat to attack our hands when we moved them underneath the bed covers. The cat slept with my aunt. The next morning, my aunt said, "I don’t know what’s gotten into Kitty! All night long, she kept attacking my feet every time I moved them. She never did that before! We confessed our misdeed.
