Can’t you get a caddy like Mr. Goldfinger had? He would drop your golf ball out of his trouser leg in a good spot. And no one argued with that caddy too.
I had an uncle who was a terrific golfer. He was good enough that was a scratch golfer – no handicap. As he got older – especially when he was in his 80’s, he’d get angry with himself if he shot his age. While he couldn’t drive the ball as long as the young guys he golfed with, he’d kill them on the putting greens.
He continued playing golf right up until he died at age 94. His idea of retirement life, after my Aunt died, was playing golf in the spring, summer, and fall, and shooting pool in the winter.
Golf’s not that hard. I remember how people were so impressed when Tiger Woods shot a 62. Shoot, I could do that and it only took me nine holes to do it…Tiger needed all 18 of them.

Even golfers from Holtsville, NY (with the lowest zip code, 00501) are pretty successful in shooting their zip code.

I would be happy to shoot my area code.

I shoot my age every time I golf. Usually by the 15th hole.

Golfer:
Shoots a 5

Also, remember that golf is only flog spelled backwards.

I could probably shoot my age… provided it’s on a 9-hole course.
