A relative had a pet boa constrictor, I agreed to take care of it while he was on vacation. He kept it in an aquarium that had a piece of plywood with a large rock on top. He thoughtfully told me that if the snake was hungry I would see it moving around and if it got really hungry it could get out of its home. Since the snake would only eat living things, if I saw it moving around I was supposed to feed it one of the cute little rats he raised There was a log in the aquarium and I assumed it was resting behind that because, thank goodness, I never saw it.

You could call her Nagini. Or if it’s male, Kaa!
If it’s neither, call it “they, them”!!

The snake doesn’t look like it wants an owner, as much as it wants dinner.

The snake looks like the love child of a python and a rattlesnake.
