A friend of mine had a cat that kept shredding and eating her house plants, so gave her one of my cactiā¦ the kind where you couldnāt see the plant for the spines.
The cat ate the cactus, too, spines and allā¦ and with no apparent ill effects.
I have a type of cactus that doesnāt have thorns. For the first time since Iāve had these cacti, Squirrels are eating them! Why they decided to do this all of a sudden, I donāt know. However, I found that spraying a peppermint solution on and around the cacti, apparently has kept the squirrels away. I canāt say how it would work with Grog.
