    A friend of mine had a cat that kept shredding and eating her house plants, so gave her one of my cactiā€¦ the kind where you couldnā€™t see the plant for the spines.

    The cat ate the cactus, too, spines and allā€¦ and with no apparent ill effects.

    I have a type of cactus that doesnā€™t have thorns. For the first time since Iā€™ve had these cacti, Squirrels are eating them! Why they decided to do this all of a sudden, I donā€™t know. However, I found that spraying a peppermint solution on and around the cacti, apparently has kept the squirrels away. I canā€™t say how it would work with Grog.
